Marshall-Harrison County Health District (MHCHD) is partnering with Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to provide free adult flu vaccines in Harrison County. The free flu vaccines are available through DSHS for adults ages 19 and older with no health insurance.

The flu vaccines will be offered two days including Thursday, December 5, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Marshall-Harrison County Health District, 805 Lindsey Drive, Marshall, Texas. Vaccines will also be available at Mission Marshall, 2109 S. Washington Avenue, on Tuesday, December 10, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

According to MHCHD Executive Director Jennifer Hancock, flu vaccines for children up to age 18 are available daily at MHCHD during normal clinic hours. “Our children’s vaccines, including the flu vaccine, are available for children who qualify through the Texas Vaccines for Children program,” states Hancock. “By partnering with the Texas Department of State Health Services, we are able to provide the free adult flu vaccines this year during these two days.”
