Adults who are 19 years and older and do not have health insurance are able to receive immunizations at no cost through the Adult Safety Net program at Marshall-Harrison County Health District. The program was created by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Immunization Unit and helps uninsured adults receive vaccinations to prevent infection with one of these potentially devastating diseases.

Marshall-Harrison County Health District offers the following vaccines for adults through the Adult Safety Net:

  • Hepatitis A vaccine
  • Hepatitis B vaccine
  • Measles, mumps, & rubella (MMR) vaccine
  • Meningococcal vaccine
  • Tetanus, diphtheria, & pertussis (Tdap) vaccine
  • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td) vaccine

Vaccines are administered during MHCHD’s office hours with no appointment necessary. For more information about the Adult Safety Net, visit: https://www.dshs.texas.gov/immunization-unit/adult-safety-net-program
